Charter a bus rental to the Biosphere

The Biosphere is a Montreal museum dedicated to the environment. In fact, it is the only museum dedicated solely to the environment in all of North America. It lies on the banks of the St. Lawrence River and the best way for a visiting group to get to the museum safely is to rent a charter bus in Montreal.

Why charter a bus for the Biosphere

Because the museum is located within a public park, there isn’t a large amount of parking right at the museum site. Most visitors arrive on foot, by bicycle, or via the city’s subway or bus systems. But if you’re bringing a large group to visit the Biosphere, you should consider the benefits of renting a Montreal charter bus that can drop you off close to the museum. Large corporate groups can enjoy the comforts of a coach bus or minibus while smaller groups might be better served by arranging a door-to-door shuttle service. You can also choose to rent a school bus if you’re organizing a field trip to the Biosphere.

The Biosphere Environment Museum is located on St. Helen’s Island and sits on the eastern edge of Parc Jean-Drapeau. The park also contains the Stewart Museum, which sits within the confines of an old fort and contains many interesting exhibits on the city’s history and how European influence shaped New France. If you’re visiting the park on a warm summer day, you might also consider stopping by the park’s aquatic complex to cool off.    If your group is looking for food once you’ve finished your visit to the Biosphere, some of the best spots are located across the river near the Old ...

About the Biosphere

The Biosphere Environmental Museum sits within a notable architectural masterpiece. The building was designed by famous American architect Buckminster Fuller and housed the United States pavilion during the Expo 67 world’s fair. The museum’s overarching mission is to “raise citizen awareness, action, and engagement on significant environmental issues”.    The various educational exhibitions within the museum tackle a wide variety of environmental topics and challenges. These include, but are not limited to, sustainable development, biodiversity, and climate change. The museum is also home to various interactive displays related to local issues. For example, the Planet MTL exhibit allows visitors to assume the role of the city’s mayor for a brief time. You can learn the complexities of managing an urban ecosystem as you deal with traffic jams, snowstorms, international events, and more.    From various points throughout the museum, visitors can also enjoy amazing views of the river and downtown Montreal. 2020 marks the 25th anniversary of this one-of-a-kind museum, and if you visit on May 31st, which is Montreal Museums Day, you’ll be able to gain access for free!
